About Me

I am a Mechanical Engineer in the Thermal and Structural Materials group within the Applied Materials Division at Argonne National Laboratory. My work focuses on predictive, physics-based modeling of material behavior in harsh environments, with an emphasis on materials produced by advanced manufacturing processes. Prior to my current role, I was a Postdoctoral Appointee in the same group, where I studied creep deformation in diffusion-bonded and laser powder bed fusion microstructures.

I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I worked on computational modeling of microstructure evolution of Ti-6Al-4V during thermomechanical processing. I also hold an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.

My fields of interest include Computational Solid Mechanics, Crystal Plasticity, Finite Element Methods, and High Performance Computing. Outside of work, I enjoy running and painting.
